May 11, 2009 – James (Jim) Wyne has joined S. H. Smith & Company, a national, independently owned specialty insurance broker, as Manager, Tow Truck Programs. He will be located out of S. H. Smith & Company’s home office in Hartford, CT.
Joining the Program Department, one of the fastest growing departments of the firm, Jim’s responsibilities will be to manage the National Exclusive Tow Truck and Auto Transporters Program. This program provides Automobile Liability and Physical Damage, General Liability, Garage Liability, Garage Keepers Legal Liability, Cargo (On Hook), and Property coverages, and covers all size tow trucks plus trailers, dealer/transporter plates, and incidental private passenger and service vehicles. Target classes include tow truck operators and auto transporters.
Before joining S.H. Smith & Company, Jim served as Director of Production at RLI Corp., where he was responsible for construction general liability product development. Prior to that position he served as Sr. Vice President of The Hartford Insurance Group, National Account Practice. James is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder.
