Effective August 1, 2011 – Eddie Williams has joined S.H. Smith & Company as Executive Vice President in the Commercial Property, Casualty & Environmental Department.

In this position, Ed will be in charge of the Brokerage Division. The Brokerage Division is responsible for individual risk property, casualty and environmental business. Before joining S.H. Smith & Company, Ed held the position of Senior Vice President/Sales Leader at Swett & Crawford's New York City location. Prior to Swett & Crawford, Ed spent 13 years as Vice President at Marsh & McClennan Companies. Ed's more than 24 years experience in the industry have included success on both the wholesale and retail sectors of the insurance arena, which will serve as a valuable asset to the S.H. Smith & Company team.
