June 27, 2011 – S.H. Smith & Company is excited to announce the opening of their newest office in Florida.

The new office is an addition to their six existing satellite offices throughout the country and home office in Hartford, CT and will be headed by new Senior Vice President of Property, Albert J. Colosimo, Jr.

Al has had a long and distinguished career that includes a great deal of carrier underwriting. Al also owned a wholesale brokerage and worked at a number of national wholesale brokerages before joining S.H. Smith & Company.

This is another exciting step in a calculated and carefully considered growth strategy for S.H. Smith & Company into areas where we believe we have the proper talent to appeal to independent agents who need expertise and strategic market access.
