Kimberly Latka Awarded "Claim Professional of the Year"!

On April 12, 2011, The Hartford Association of Insurance Women presented their "Claim Professional of the Year" Award to S.H. Smith & Company's Claim Specialist, Kimberly Latka. This is a very high honor, as the candidates for this award include Insurance Companies, Reinsurance Companies, Independent Adjusters and Excess/Surplus Lines Claim Professionals.

Kim joined S. H. Smith & Co. in 2007. As a claims specialist, Kim is responsible for reporting all claims as they are received. She also assists agents with any inquiries regarding claims, and obtains loss runs as well. Prior to joining S. H. Smith, Kim was an inside claims representative for Great American Insurance. She is a graduate of the University of New Haven.
