Accidents Happen. Are Your Clients Covered? |

summer has left us and the time of year for hayrides and haunted houses is here. While no one expects accidents to occur at these family functions, they do. At a small farm in Western Connecticut that has been hosting a haunted house and hayride for decades, one such unexpected accident occurred. One of the role players involved with the hayride was tasked with jumping out from the hayfield as the hayride passed by in an attempt to scare the passengers. As the role-player prepared to jump out and scare the hayride passengers, he slipped on the wet grass and was subsequently run-over by the tractor and the wagon being pulled by the tractor. Luckily the man lived, but sustained severe, life-altering injuries. Is your client covered for such an event? S.H.
